The Cardinals Cross Country team continued their strong season on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 despite the scorching hot weather. (Not that we’re unhappy with Summer weather in late September!) The team finished very well despite having only 14 runners at this meet.

The Bishop Carroll community gathered together on September 23, 2009 in worship as they celebrated the School Opening Mass. Father Greg presided over the Mass with assistance from members of our Student’s Council. The Vocal Jazz group brought their musical gifts to the service and sang beautifully.

Human Peace Sign
Students at Bishop Carroll joined their hands together in solidarity with all others in the world who were Standing Up for Peace in celebration of the 27th annual United Nations International Day of Peace. The celebration began with an event on Friday, September 18th when students were invited to the School Theatre for a screening of The Day After Peace.
The second event that was organized was the formation of the Human Peace Sign on Monday, September 21st at noon. Students and Staff gathered together on Bishop Carroll’s soccer field and the photo was taken from the school building roof!
