On Friday June 18^th, 2010, grade 12 student Valez Lumi was honoured along with 68 other Calgary and area high school graduates at the Calgary Herald Class Act Banquet and Reception. Valez’s inspiring journey as a refugee from Kosovo to Canada followed by her academic successes is a true testament to the power of the human spirit that was recognized among our graduates for 2010. Valez will participate in graduation exercises on Monday June 28, 2010 and will be attending the University of Calgary in the fall. Congratulations Valez!
