Bishop Carroll High School Graduation Requirements

Important Dates and Times
February 17, 18, and 19, 2009 @ 9:15 to 12:30 – Grade 12 Retreats (FCJ Centre)
- A required grade 12 activity – Students must attend on their TA’s assigned day.
- Parent permission forms will be distributed and must be returned by February 8, 2009.
February 24, 2009 @ 9:15 a.m. – First Grad Meeting (Gym)
March 2 and 3, 2009 @ 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – Sign up for photo sitting (room 201)
- Life Touch Photographers
March 18, 19 and March 23 to 27, 2009 – Photo Sittings (T.V. Studio level 1)
- Recommended: Boys – white shirt and tie; girls – white collar or no collar.
- If you are going to order photos from Life Touch there is a 25.00$ sitting fee for your proofs and package terms for orders.
April 27, 2009 – 60.00$ Graduation Fee Due (Office)
- This fee covers the rental of a gown and stole, facility rental costs, printing, Mass, reception, graduation souvenir tassel, certificate, and portfolio. Fees are payable at the Cash Cage (during Cash Cage hours).
April 29, 2009 @ 9:15 – Second Graduation Meeting/Smart Grad Activities (Gym)
- Choose class reps: historian (reception), valedictorian (exercises), and MC (exercises). Nomination forms available from the main office April 1 to 6, 2009. Completed forms must be returned on or before April 21, 2009.
May 29, 2009 – Graduation Dinner and Dance (Round Up Centre)
- Tickets on sale starting early May – tickets required per person but price still to be determined. Round Up Center theme is TBA. The Banquet and Dance is a school sanctioned event but not a required event.
June 23, 2009 @ 1:00 p.m. – Third Graduation Meeting (Theater)
- Grad rehersal for all public ceremonies – line up logistics and grad gown distribution.
June 24, 2009 @ 9:15 a.m. – Graduation Mass (St. Luke’s Church 1566 Northmount Drive NW)
- Graduates must be wearing Grad Gowns
June 24, 2009 @ 10:30 a.m. – Student/Staff Reception (St. Luke’s Church)
- Historian and Class Awards presentations
June 24, 2009 @ 1:30 p.m. – Graduation Ceremonies (First Alliance Church 12345 – 40th Street SE)
- Graduates must be wearing Grad Gowns
