Chaplain       

Ms. Fabijan-Waddell is Bishop Carroll’s school chaplain. She is with us on a part-time basis between Bishop Carroll High School and Notre Dame .Her expertise and passion in working with Bishop Carroll’s students and teachers will serve to develop the spiritual directions for Bishop Carroll. Ms. Fabijan-Waddell will also be working closely with the various Parish priests whose churches are located in the community. The talents and gifts that Ms. Fabijan-Waddell has provided our school community in her role as Chaplain has created a very positive spiritual culture at Bishop Carroll for the students, parents and school staff.The goals and strategies that Ms. Fabijan-Waddell has established for her professional growth will continue to have a significant influence on our school community as we continue to pursue the faith formation activities that are important for our youth.

Chaplains Message:
With January diploma exams approaching, and Bishop Carroll students making regular trips to the Testing Centre, the following prayer might be an important addition to exam preparations.

Spirit of the Living God, hear my prayer.
Breathe calm into me as I write this exam,
removing any tension or anxiety
that could hinder my concentration.
Give me the gift of understanding as I read the questions.
Allow my mind to be clear as I recall what I have learned,
and grant me the desire to strive for completeness in my responses.
Help me remember that you are with me throughout this exam,
gently loving and encouraging me
to do the best I can in each moment.
I offer thanks for my teachers and instructors
who constantly give their time and talent
so that I am prepared to do my best in this exam
and throughout my educational journey.
I make this prayer in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
